Your Website in Five Steps

Yep, it’s really that simple. There’s a reason why the waterfall approach is a mainstay of web design: it works. After a decade of WordPress websites, I have my process down to a science.

Terri Witek

In this design, each section of the site features full-bleed photography from her collaborations, and we focused on building a robust collaborations gallery that pulls in assets from Flickr.

Scott Patterson

Scott needed a place to showcase his publication history and storied career as a journalist and author. We tailored a Genesis theme to suit the character of his new book, which makes it easy for Scott to publish news and press using WordPress’s block-baased editor.

LastPass Blog

I helped LogMeIn bring all its product blogs under a single WordPress Multisite platform, making life easier for their content editors.

Leap Agency

The Leap website relied on a robust, shortcode-driven templating system that allowed the agency team to construct portfolio pages with no technical expertise.

Swedenborgian Church

The WordPress theme I built allows site administrators to create highly modular pages by selecting from a bank of configurable blocks that require no technical expertise to manage.

Fringe Magazine

Spun off by grad students at Emerson College in Boston, Fringe Magazine (“The Noun That Verbs Your World”) was an alt-lit publication I designed and developed during my graduate years.

Armored Things

Integrated Digital Advertising Agency CTP Boston hired me to develop the new website for Armored Things, which offers AI-powered software for managing physical infrastructure. CTP provided the design, and I handled development.

Comeback America Initiative

As a political action brochure, the microsite functioned as a hub of information about the nation’s finances, linking out to the Comeback America Initiative’s “Fiscal IQ” survey.
